We offer two
to three unpaid, part-time internships every semester, including
the summer semester.
We look for people who love literature, read avidly, have
advanced writing and analytical skills and can utilize those
skills to evaluate commercial fiction manuscripts. Administrative
tasks (e.g., responding to routine correspondence, filing,
database management, etc.) may also be assigned.
While the positions are unpaid, we have worked with local
colleges and universities to ensure that interns received
course credit. We are very generous with references and networking
assistance in the publishing industry for those who successfully
complete the internship.
Our office is accessible via Metro or bus and is located
within a couple o blocks of the Tenleytown/AU Metro stop.
